Our old Block Party Studios van renamed "Betty" by Nigerian teachers who drove her to schools around Iowa last month came back to our driveway bearing youngsters from South Africa.  They're here for a leadership conference.  We're hosting the boys for six nights.  The girls are being housed by neighbors nearby.  The students are flanked by yours truly and by Joey from www.iris-center.org in the photo above. These young people are amazing—smart, engaging, worldly, loving and fun!  We enrich each other. We’ve packaged two new quilt kits for your project enjoyment this month:  Our laughable “Ode to a Stash” limerick and our Fruit Ladies Pillow Kit.  Fast and easy to make, these items will sure to make you, your family and friends smile every time! I will be with all my quilting friends in Rochester at the Minnesota Quilt Show when this newsletter is posted.  Stop by our booth if you’re in the neighborhood! Jeanne Coverdale
