Has your summer gone as fast as mine?  My guess is that it has!  We quilters tend to be relational beings.  Summertime is filled with visiting relations for a lot of us.  My Dutch sister, Regina, and her family spent part of July with us. That’s her granddaughter, Nöelle, surrounded by fabric at our shop in the photo on the left and with Mike below.  We gorged ourselves on Iowa sweet corn.  We’ve also hosted visitors from Cameroon, Nigeria and Tanzania!  We’re delighted to have the world come to our doorstep.

Mike does most of the cooking for our many guests (see our "She Quilts I Cook" panels and tees!) so I can cook-up patterns and fabric panels for you!  In fact, I’ve cooked-up a summer storm if you will, of new fun patterns and fabrics to go with them!  Plus, I am now offering one-of-a-kind Quilts for Sale, product samples we’re cycling out of our Trunk Shows.  Our new items include:

• "Man Cave" hand printed fabric, kits, and related fabric groupings, or packaged with our EZ Framez pattern, modified now to accept even larger focal fabrics!
• Two new music themed fabric panels: "Music, The Staff of Life" and "Only Rock n Roll" (Patterns coming for these soon!)
