SIT & SEW
Come out the second Saturday of the month and sew from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Bring your own project to work on while enjoying the company of other quilters.

Host A “Block Party” Quilting Day
Gather a group of friends and quilt for a day in our newly remodeled classroom.
Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Minimum of 5 - maximum of 8
Cost; $25 a person--includes lunch, snacks, and beverages
$10 a person—includes snacks and beverages
We provide table space, electricity, iron, ironing board, and cutting area.
A refrigerator and microwave are available for your use.
Our shop is also open for your browsing and shopping.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Registration
You will be enrolled in class after we have received full payment of your class fees. You may register for classes in person, by phone or e-mail us at: patti@blockpartystudios.com ; kathy@blockpartystudios.com .
Cancellations
Refunds will be given on cancellations made 7 business days prior to the first class. If you cancel less than 7 days prior, you are entitled to the class materials included in the fees, and you may pick them up within 14 days. After that time, we cannot guarantee availability of class materials. Sorry, no refunds are available for cancellations after the start of a class. If we cancel the class, a full refund will be made or you can apply the fees to another class.
Weather Closings
In case of severe winter weather, please call to verify whether class is being held. As a rule of thumb, if there is no school at Nevada Public Schools, there is no class. A make-up date will be scheduled.
Supplies
Unless otherwise stated, bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. We will provide cutting space and ironing boards/irons. A supply list for your specific class will be available after registration. If you need to purchase class supplies, we ask that you purchase them from us. We offer 15% off class supplies not included in the registration fee.
We’re located in Central Iowa in the Nevada Industrial
Park. Take I-35 to Hwy 30 East. Follow Hwy 30 about five miles
to West 18th Street/Airport Road. Turn North (left) onto West
18th Street/Airport Road and proceed one mile. Turn East (right)
onto West K Avenue. We’re the first building on the north
side of the street with a green roof/trim and tan siding. West
K Avenue is just south the T intersection of West 18th Street/Airport
Road and the old Lincoln Highway (now E41).
